Tinted Campfires
The Tinted Campfires mod introduces 16 colored campfires (matching all Minecraft dye colors) to decorate and light up your builds.
Block Properties & Features
Tinted campfires inherit behaviors from the vanilla campfire block to make sure they feel native to the game:
- Light Emission: Emits light (level 15) when lit, and 0 when extinguished.
- Cooking Food: You can cook up to 4 raw food items (like raw beef, porkchops, cod, kelp) simultaneously on the logs, identical to vanilla.
- Signal Column: Placing a Hay Bale underneath creates a high-rising column of custom colored smoke, making them excellent beacons.
- Bee Interaction: Placed under Beehives or Bee Nests, their smoke will calm bees, allowing you to safely harvest honey and honeycombs without provoking them.
Extinguishing & Relighting
You can extinguish and relight Tinted Campfires using vanilla tools and items:
Extinguishing:
- Right-click the lit campfire with any Shovel.
- Throw a Splash Water Bottle at it.
- Let water flow over the campfire block.
Relighting:
- Right-click the unlit campfire with Flint and Steel or a Fire Charge.
- Shoot a flaming arrow at it.
- Trigger a dispenser containing Flint and Steel or a Fire Charge facing the campfire.
Mod Integrations & Compatibility
Tinted Campfires includes built-in support for several popular mods:
